Job Summary
As a Manufacturing Engineer you will work as part of a wider team liaising with internal groups,
suppliers, and customers as appropriate.
This position is pivotal to ensuring that processes used, and products produced throughout their
manufacturing cycle meet the applicable quality standards required by our internal procedures,
customers & regulatory bodies with the overall aim of enhancing customer satisfaction.
Working in a team environment you will be instrumental in the resolution of manufacturing issues,
performing thorough root cause analysis and the implementation of robust corrective &
preventative actions.
Role & Responsibilities
• Lead project based NPI in-load through gated process and presenting weekly updates to
stakeholders.
• Develop manufacturing processes.
• Shopfloor manufacturing support as and when needed.
• Assures product conformance by implementing effective processes.
• Understand and implement customer and regulatory specifications to maintain product
integrity.
• Create and review manufacturing routings and BOMs
• Create and review FAIR documentation in line with NPI process.
• Create and maintain effective PFMEA’s, including DCM’s and Control plans and process
flows.
• Create in-process inspection plans; final inspection plans; SOPs; data cards.
• Implement ECRs as required.
• Support NCR closure by investigation and disposition non-conforming product using 5Y,
3C, 8D as applicable, and implement effective RCCA including submission of
concession/deviation permit applications as applicable.
• Participate in meetings including daily SQCDP production board meetings.
• Comply with all relevant internal rules, policy and procedures, including those related to
Health and Safety, Data Protection and issued Employee Handbook.
Knowledge & Experience
• Aerospace industry experience.
• Sheet metal/machining, including special processes experience.
• Project management skills.
• CAD experience (2D and 3D).
• Strong attention to detail.

Hours of work
Monday to Friday
7am-4pm Monday to Thursday, 7am-12pm Friday

Salary
£35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience

Job Summary
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and growing aerospace engineering Company as a Sheet Metal Worker. Working with a range of materials and sheet metal tools and equipment.
As a proactive and competent member of the team, you will be responsible for the fabrication and final production of complex multiple parts to ensure internal and customer demands are met.
This role requires someone with extensive skills and experience of sheet metal working.
Responsibilities
• Compliance with all procedures and work instructions.
• Reading, interpreting and understanding of drawings, work cards, specifications and other relevant technical documents.
• Working with materials such as Titanium, Stainless Steel, Jethete, Nimonics and others.
• Working with thin gauge material 0.7mm to 1.6mm approx.
• Experience of riveting and sealing applications
• Assembly of fabricated and machined parts combined into one assembly.
• Use of visual inspection and documentation, working to tight tolerances.
• Identification of non-conforming product or process and feedback to the Shift Leader.
• Active involvement in Continuous Improvement activities related to production activities.
• Provide continued training support as required.
• Clocking on and off of all jobs being undertaken.
• Identify and communicate improvements to processes or procedures identified during production.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in accordance with 5S protocol
Required Skills & Competencies
• Use of hand tools to cut, bend and straighten sheet metal
• Shaping metal over blocks or forms using hammers
• Inspecting, assembling and smoothing seams and joints of welded, brazed or burred surfaces.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.

– Monday to Thursday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Job Summary
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be expected to run multiple CNC Machines. Working in a team environment on a two-shift pattern, Monday to Friday. Overtime available.
Responsibilities
• Setting/operating multiple CNC machines following standard operating instructions

Required Skills and Competences
• Competent in Setting, Running and understanding a Mill Turn Lathe
• Experienced in Mazak, Fanuc operating systems
• Demonstrate experience within a manufacturing / precision engineering environment.
• Be able to produce components to drawing tolerance and specifications, efficiently and accurately.
• Confident in the uses of a variety of inspection equipment and methods to validate product.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interface with all levels of the organisation.
