This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and growing aerospace engineering Company as a Sheet Metal Worker. Working with a range of materials and sheet metal tools and equipment.
As a proactive and competent member of the team, you will be responsible for the fabrication and final production of complex multiple parts to ensure internal and customer demands are met.
This role requires someone with extensive skills and experience of sheet metal working.
Responsibilities
• Compliance with all procedures and work instructions.
• Reading, interpreting and understanding of drawings, work cards, specifications and other relevant technical documents.
• Working with materials such as Titanium, Stainless Steel, Jethete, Nimonics and others.
• Working with thin gauge material 0.7mm to 1.6mm approx.
• Experience of riveting and sealing applications
• Assembly of fabricated and machined parts combined into one assembly.
• Use of visual inspection and documentation, working to tight tolerances.
• Identification of non-conforming product or process and feedback to the Shift Leader.
• Active involvement in Continuous Improvement activities related to production activities.
• Provide continued training support as required.
• Clocking on and off of all jobs being undertaken.
• Identify and communicate improvements to processes or procedures identified during production.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in accordance with 5S protocol
Required Skills & Competencies
• Use of hand tools to cut, bend and straighten sheet metal
• Shaping metal over blocks or forms using hammers
• Inspecting, assembling and smoothing seams and joints of welded, brazed or burred surfaces.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Hours – Initially: Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Friday: 7:00am – 12:00 pm but then may move to 2 shifts

– Monday to Thursday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Job Summary
Role:
The role involves working closely with senior management to effectively analyse and report on the financial performance of the business to drive improvements.
With accountability for the preparation of financial data, we require someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, organised and resilient.
The role also includes the effective reporting and processing of salary payments, timesheets, sickness and overtime into the payroll function. You will ensure information required for accurate processing of employee payments is prepared in a timely fashion.
Key Responsibilities
• Production of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Administer general ledger codes as required to ensure accurate groupings of revenues and costs as required.
• Detailed variance analysis of job performance vs budgeted costs.
• Stock and WIP valuation.
• Administration of pension payments and changes.
• Complete statutory reporting to official bodies including and not exclusive to HMRC.
• Collate and monitor sickness absence levels monthly, ensuring appropriate Company and Statutory sick payments managed.
• Support the Head of Finance with the completion of reports as and when required.
• Administer time sheets, checking for anomalies with employees working hours and follow up with line managers for queries.
• Reconcile all sickness and overtime forms submitted by managers to ensure they are completed accurately and on time, chase managers where inaccuracies occur.
• Ensure all pay-related forms are fed into payroll in good time for monthly cut off
• Processing of other pay-related paperwork to ensure accurate payments to employees.
• Inputting and processing payroll data onto Sage 50 for the monthly pay run.
• Calculate and post payroll deductions.
• Reconcile employee deductions.
• Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors.
• Update payroll records by recording changes including salary increases.
Skills & Experience
• Fully qualified and part qualified candidates will be considered, with a recognised qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Knowledge of Avante, Epicor 10 and Sage payroll is desirable.
• Be an analytical thinker, with excellent Excel skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Have relevant sector experience.
• Conversant with data manipulation, to ensure meaningful reporting of events.
• Good knowledge of accounting systems controls.
• Excellent attention to detail qualifies and a high level of accuracy.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
• Strong Excel and finance database experience.

Job Summary
Accountable for the H&S, quality, cost, delivery and team management in an allocated work stream. Working within a fast-moving high-volume Operations department.
To lead the operational production teams to deliver best in class and flexible manufacturing performance in accordance with business objectives and strategic plans.
This will be achieved through the day to day effective leadership of a multi-skilled and multi-functional operations team to drive for superior results, exceed KPI targets, and strive for continual month on month improvements.
Role & Responsibilities
• To be accountable for the safe execution of the operational plan within your area.
• Lead by example with regards to working in a safe manner, avoiding accident or injury to people, damage to machinery or property.
• To ensure that all manufacturing activities are carried out in accordance with the instructions provide and that components produced meet the specified quality standards required.
• Maintaining appropriate approval and training system which ensures that all operators are adequately trained to meet the needs of their job function and to maintain written records, thus demonstrating that appropriate standards have been achieved and are maintained by individuals.

Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring that the products produced meet quality standards required to minimise quality costs and maximise customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to. Ensure incoming materials meet required quality standards. Responsible for identifying and raising quality issues and for speedily resolving them to ensure zero impact to the customer. Support new product introductions to ensure the robustness of product builds. Work in a team environment to develop and implement best practices that emphasise defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste and provide for continuous improvements in meeting all customer requirements. Manage the customer specific and 3rd Party accreditation requirements and offer technical support. Work mostly independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
• Compliance with all pertinent Dynamic Aerospace Fabrications Ltd procedures and work instructions within the quality manual.
• Calibration – Control via Gagepack database, calibrated gauges, instruments, CMM’s, oven controls and surveys through 3rd party calibration suppliers
• Interpreting and understanding of drawings, work cards, specifications and other relevant technical documents.
• Writing / amending of procedures / work instructions as required.
• Control and review of specifications in conjunction with the Quality Manager including the update and filing as required.
• Carrying out Internal audits to AS9100/AS13100 in line with the internal audit plan.
• Manage customer returns & supplier corrective actions. Liaise with production personnel and supervision where required to feedback information relating to quality issues both internal and externally raised.
• Investigation into root cause of non-conforming product and the implementation of corrective and preventive action. 8D problem solving
• Communication with customers, supplier and 3rd Parties using internal or their specified documents.
• Active involvement in Continuous Improvement activities.
• Work in an accurate and timely fashion.
Knowledge & Experience
• Quality / Engineering background
• Experience in Root Cause tools (ideally 8D knowledge)
• Audit Experience – AS9100 internal auditor
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques
• Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace
